17.69 percent of ballots have been returned in the 2026 Douglas County November General Election, as of Friday evening.

County Clerk Daniel Loomis said 15,820 ballots have been received. Loomis said that is 0.37 percentage points ahead of the participation rate at the same point in the 2022 local November General Election.

Loomis said thanks to emergency funding from the Oregon State Legislature, two new ballot drop boxes are now in place in Douglas County and accepting ballots at these locations:

*Glide Community Center parking lot on North Umpqua Highway in Glide.

*Oregon Department of Human Services parking lot on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.

Registered voters who have not received their ballot should contact or visit the Douglas County Elections Office. Voters can return their ballot at any of the county’s 17 official ballot drop-site locations.
