A Canyonville man was jailed on Tuesday for a reported past theft incident.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Officer report said at 12:00 p.m. a deputy received information regarding an allegedly past theft incident from the Canyonville School District. In surveillance video the deputy could see two subjects.

One was a 30-year-old man who was later taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree counts of criminal trespass and theft. The man was detained without bail.
