Roseburg Police cited a woman for a criminal count of prohibited camping and offensive littering on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 6:45 a.m. officers contacted the 43-year-old sleeping inside her tent which was placed within ten feet of the bike path in Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Stephens Street. Officers observed a large amount of trash surrounding the woman’s tent. The woman was released after the citations were issued.
