Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:30 a.m. officers recognized the 58-year-old in the area of Southeast Oak Avenue and Southeast Main Street and knew he had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the man was taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,500.
