The closure of a section of West Goedeck Avenue in Roseburg has been extended through 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 26th, while crews continue sanitary sewer work serving the wastewater treatment plant, operated by the Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority.

A city release said the road was originally expected to reopen at 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 19th. The closure affects West Goedeck Avenue east of Old Melrose Road toward Lookingglass Road.

Motorists should continue using alternate routes, allow additional travel time, follow posted traffic-control signs and drive cautiously near crews and equipment.

The release said work remains ongoing, and the reopening date may change as conditions develop. City staff will provide additional updates as they become available.
