A Frost Advisory is in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Monday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said temperatures as low as 34 degrees will result in frost formation.

The Advisory area includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Myrtle Creek, Glendale, Drain and surrounding areas.

Forecasters said frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Those plants may be killed if left uncovered. Residents should take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.
