The Southern Oregon Fishing Expo is coming to the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Presented by Fly Fishing Veterans, the event is sponsored by North River Boats and Willie Boats. It is designed to connect veterans, first responders and the outdoor community.

The expo will feature demonstrations on fly tying by nationally recognized fly tiers from the Pacific Northwest. There will also be fishing education, a new ocean program launch, vendors and exhibitor booths and more. The Frank Moore documentary, “Mending the Line” will be shown at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A Quilts of Valor presentation will be held at 2:00 p.m.  A silent auction and a live auction will both be held.

Admission is $5 or free with a canned food donation.
