HIGH PRESSURE BRINGING ABOVE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES THROUGH FRIDAY

High pressure is bringing above normal high temperatures through Friday in the Umpqua Valley.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that highs are slated to be around ten degrees above normal for this time of year. A cold front is expected to enter the region on Friday and intensify over the weekend, dropping highs to around 80 degrees on Friday and near 70 for both Saturday and Sunday. That will be a 15 degree drop in a two-day period. No precipitation is expected.

Sunday’s high temperature was 82 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
