Local nonprofit, Every Child Douglas is holding a Resource Family Appreciation event October 3rd 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Westside Christian Church parking lot on West Harvard Avenue to support local foster families.

A release from the organization said Every Child Douglas is a nonprofit organization that provides support to children and families impacted by foster care. The event will feature raffles, coffee and donuts and supportive conversation.
