The Douglas Forest Protective Association continues with prescribed burns around the Umpqua Valley.

On Wednesday, a burn is scheduled with a 12:30 p.m. ignition time in the 1000 block of Kester Road near Roseburg. Smoke will be visible from Highway 138E, Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, North Bank Road, Dixonville and Wilbur.
