Roseburg Police cited a man Monday for throwing a trash can and an ashtray off the courthouse steps during a past incident.

An RPD report said there was video of the incident and the 31-year admitted to the act when he was contacted at 9:15 a.m. He was cited for second-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering and was then released on the scene.
