A Winston man was charged with two counts of menacing following an incident on Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:40 p.m. victims said the 20-year-old approached their residence in the 5000 block of Willis Creek Road near Winston with a large butcher knife. The suspect lives in a trailer down by a nearby barn and has no association or access to the main residence or area.

The report said the victim called out to the suspect and told him to leave. Musgrove reportedly raised the butcher knife and asked a victim what he was going to do about it, among other statements. The man was taken into custody and was detained without bail.
