Roseburg Police jailed a man for prohibited camping early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:10 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway because he was camping in a prohibited area. The man had four prior convictions for prohibited camping, with the most recent one being July 8th. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $1,000.
