Roseburg Police cited a juvenile for reckless driving and speeding over 100 miles per hour on Monday.

An RPD report said at 12:50 p.m. officers witnessed a speeding vehicle on Interstate 5 northbound near the Garden Valley Boulevard interchange. The compact sedan was allegedly weaving through traffic and was paced at 112 miles per hour. The vehicle was eventually stopped near the intersection of Highway 99 North and Weyerhaeuser Drive. The 17-year-old male juvenile admitted to driving as fast as 115 miles per hour.

He was released after the citation was issued.
