Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Monday.
An RPD report said at 10:50 a.m. a victim said the 37-year-old has violated the restraining order she had against him when he came to her house in the 800 block of West Lookingglass Road earlier in the day to exchange custody of their shared child. Per the restraining order, the man was prohibited from being within 150 feet of the victim’s house without exception.
Officers contacted the suspect by phone, who admitted to going to the residence and knowing he was prohibited from doing so. The suspect later met with officers to turn himself in. He was taken into custody without incident and was detained without bail. The man was released on Tuesday.
