Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Monday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 10:45 a.m. contacted the man in the 1400 block of Southeast Pine Street after a resident said the man appeared to be hiding under a truck. Officers knew the man was on parole and was wanted for failing to report. A detainer was authorized. He was taken into custody without incident and was detained without bail. The man was released later on Monday.
