Oregon Department of Human Services is holding a free community resource event on August 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Roseburg ODHS parking lot located on West Harvard Avenue.
A release from ODHS said the event normally held on the first Thursday of August but was rescheduled to the second Thursday due to the Douglas County Fair taking place last week.
Free back-to-school resources include hygiene kits, backpacks, shoes and haircut vouchers, and lunch bags while supplies last. Other resources will be available such as food boxes, clothing, and showers from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. School aged children must be present to receive resources. Over 40 community agencies and services will be at the event.
ADAPT mobile Medical Clinic will be on-site with a free clinic for sports physicals and immunizations.
