A Heat Advisory continues for central Douglas County through Friday night at 11:00 p.m.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said hot temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees with low temperatures of 60 to 65 degrees are expected.

The Advisory area includes the Umpqua Valley communities of Roseburg, Elkton, Drain, Sutherlin, Tiller and Camas Valley.

Forecasters said hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors.
