A transient was jailed for two restraining order violations and for second-degree criminal mischief on Thursday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:40 p.m. the reporting party had a restraining order against 30-year-old Nicholas Turner. He called the protected person and asked for help, and she went to the 100 block of Isadore Road in the Oakland area, where his vehicle had broken down.

During this contact Turner allegedly became enraged and began jumping on the protected person’s vehicle. The hood was up to jump his SUV and ripped the hood support brace off. The protected person drove away and reported the incident. When contacted, Turner admitted to knowing about the restraining order and violating it. Bail was set at $15,000.
