In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park summer concert series continues Thursday night.

The Fabulous Del Monte Brothers Blues Band will perform from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The group is known for playing old school blues, featuring harp-slinging bluesman T-Bone Stone.

Concerts are in Millsite Park. Attendees should bring a blanket or chair. Food vendors are both on site and nearby. Dogs are allowed if kept under control and cleaned up after.

The series is celebrating its 39th year and is the longest running free summer concert series in the county. It is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call 860-2037.
