Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man on the charge of fourth-degree felony assault on Wednesday evening, for a prior incident.
A DCSO report said on Tuesday during an argument, the 38-year-old allegedly threw a victim against the corner of a wall causing injury and substantial pain to 3 parts of her body. The incident took place at a residence in the 4000 block of Coronado Street in the Green District and allegedly happened in the presence of a minor child who ran to get another adult. The suspect left the home prior to the deputy arriving.
The man was taken into custody at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday
