ROSEBURG POLICE RESPOND TO NON-INJURY CRASH

Roseburg Police responded to a non-injury crash in the downtown area on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 3:20 p.m. the accident was reported at the intersection of Southeast Oak Avenue and Southeast Stephens Street. The investigation revealed that the driver of a sedan stopped at a red light but proceeded through the intersection on a red as a second sedan entered the intersection traveling northbound, causing a wreck. Both vehicles were damaged. The second vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

The driver who caused the crash was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
