ROSEBURG POLICE CITE TWO MEN FOR PROHIBITED CAMPING

Roseburg Police cited two men for prohibited camping early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 3:30 a.m. officers contacted the men, ages 37 and 41, at their camp near the intersection of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard and Northwest Boulder Drive. The camp was in violation of the city’s camping ordinance. The 41-year-old had two prior convictions and was cited for a criminal count of the charge. The 37-year-old had no prior convictions so was cited for a violation count of the charge. Both men were then released.
