In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Music on the Half Shell will present danceable Afrobeat and Juju music from Jujuba on Tuesday night.

The eleven-piece ensemble from Portland features Nigerian Master Talking Drum legend Nojeem Lasisi. He has toured the world and appeared on numerous recordings for years.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at Nichol’s Band Shell in Roseburg’s Stewart Park.

Half Shell concerts have nearly a dozen food and beverage vendors providing a variety of meal options. Attendees can also bring their own dinner, along with wine or beer. Blankets can be put out in advance.
