Warm seasonal dry conditions are expected to continue in the Umpqua Valley this week.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that afternoon high temperatures will stay between the mid-80s and around 90 degrees through Friday. A warm-up is expected to begin on Friday, with highs possibly getting to the low to mid 90s for a few days starting on Saturday.
The mercury reached 88 degrees on Sunday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That was equal to the average high temperature for the date.
