Roseburg Police cited a man for depositing trashing within 100 yards of a waterway and for prohibited camping on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 12:45 p.m. the 59-year-old was contacted at his camp, which was set up along the South Umpqua River near the band shell in Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Stewart Park Drive. There was a large amount of trash surrounding the man’s camp. It was set up in an area where camping is always prohibited.
