Saving Grace Humane Society will have its biggest event of the year, Paws for a Cause, on Friday, August 28th.

A Saving Grace release said this year’s theme is “Wizard of Paws: There is No Place Like Home”. Guests are invited to follow the yellow brick road to Melrose Vineyards for an unforgettable evening supporting pets and the people who love them. Attendees will enjoy delicious food, local wine and beer, live and silent auctions, and heartwarming stories from Saving Grace staff and volunteers.

Tickets are $100 per person or $800 to reserve a table of 8. Tickets include appetizers, dinner, and wine or beer tickets.

Saving Grace Development Director Melissa Owens said,
There truly is no place like home, and every animal deserves the chance to find one”. Owens said, “Paws for a Cause is a celebration of what this community makes possible and our commitment to serving the pets and people of Douglas County. Every ticket, donation, auction bid, and sponsorship helps provide shelter, veterinary care, and a pathway home for animals in need”.
