Roseburg Police cited a man for littering near a waterway early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:30 a.m. the 50-year-old was contacted at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street because he was camping in a restricted area. The man also had trash and other debris scattered around his camp.

The man was also cited for a violation count of prohibited camping and was released.
