A Cave Junction man was arrested for a DUII incident on Tuesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said shortly after 1:30 p.m. a trooper was advised of a driving complaint on Interstate 5 in the Myrtle Creek area. The trooper located the vehicle near the intersection of Highway 99 and Weaver Bridge Road and initiated a traffic stop. The trooper observed that the driver appeared to be impaired.

The 40-year-old was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was detained without bail and was released on Wednesday morning.
