The Oregon State University Extension Service Douglas County Master Gardener Association has its Plant Clinic open on weekdays in July.

The plant clinic is operated by volunteers who staff the Master Gardener office at the Extension Service located at 1134 Southeast Douglas Avenue, next to the courthouse in Roseburg. They answer a wide range of questions about home gardening, along with diagnosing plant problems, identifying insects and plants, and answering general garden and orchard management questions.  The Plant Clinic is open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Plant Clinic volunteers are only authorized to help home gardeners. Small farms, livestock and forage farmers, and woodland owners with agricultural issues should contact the Extension Office directly to speak with an agent for help at 672-6641.
