Roseburg Police jailed a woman for two counts of first-degree theft and computer crimes on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 8:30 p.m. 70-year-old Katherine Lindsey was contacted in the 500 block of West Umpqua Street regarding an ongoing theft investigation. Lindsey admitted to stealing thousands of dollars from an elderly family member over the course of several months. She was detained without bail and was released later that evening.
