Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported theft and for warrants on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 9:15 a.m. officers contacted the 47-year-old at a store in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after loss prevention employes had stopped her outside for allegedly stealing nearly $175 worth of merchandise.

The woman admitted to the theft. Officers also learned she had failure to appear warrants out of Clackamas County Circuit Court and RPD. The warrants were confirmed and the woman was taken into custody. Bail was set at $10,000.
