The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim in the October 11th homicide investigation in Lookingglass.

A DCSO release said the victim has been identified as 65-year-old David Nathan Danford. Danford was found deceased inside a residence in the 7000 block of Lookingglass Road after deputies responded to a call for service at the home.

As previously reported, 57-year-old Matthew William Bronsert was taken into custody in connection with Danford’s death. Bronsert was charged with second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon. He remains detained without bail.

Detectives assigned to the Douglas County Major Crimes Team continue to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding Danford’s death.
