Cool weather continues in the Umpqua Valley through Thursday, before above normal temperatures resume for the foreseeable future.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Roseburg’s high should be in the mid 70’s Wednesday and near 80 on Thursday. Friday through at least next Tuesday will see highs in the mid 80’s. The long- range forecast shows highs staying in the 80s after that with the potential to warm to the upper 80s at times.

The mercury reached 72 degrees on Tuesday at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
