Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping and a dog leash law violation on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:45 p.m. the 37-year-old was contacted at his camp at Templin Beach Park in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. Camping is never allowed at this location. When an officer approached the camp, the man’s off-leash dog aggressively approached him, but retreated when the officer arc tested his taser. The man was released after the citations were issued.
