High pressure is gradually building in the Umpqua Valley, leading to afternoon high temperatures that will slowly increase as the week goes on.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that starting Thursday, the highs will be up to ten degrees above normal through the weekend, staying near to slightly above 80 degrees. The normal highs for this week are between 71 and 72 degrees.
Forecasters said no moisture is in the forecast for the foreseeable future.
