TRANSIENT JAILED FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENTS

A transient was jailed for reported disorderly conduct on Monday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:10 p.m. deputies contacted the 33-year-old near the intersection of Roberts Creek Road and Brittney Avenue in the Green District after numerous callers said the woman was getting into mailboxes, throwing mail and items, trespassing in multiple yards and making concerning statements. The transient was located and detained. She was transported to corrections and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Other charges were added. Bail was set at $17,500.
