Roseburg Police jailed a man early Monday for an alleged past theft incident.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers contacted the 39-year-old from Myrtle Creek in the 800 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. He had been developed as a suspect where a bicycle had been stolen from the bed of the victim’s pickup on April 23rd. The man was interviewed and charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. He was detained on $5,000 bail.
