ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED PRIOR DISTURBANCE INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man on Sunday night for a reported prior disturbance incident.

An RPD report said at 8:00 p.m. 38-year-old Scott Spurgeon-Hernandez turned himself in at corrections in the 1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. Officers had established probable cause to arrest Spurgeon-Hernandez for numerous crimes related to a domestic incident that had occurred several weeks prior.

The man was charged with fourth-degree felony assault, strangulation and menacing. Spurgeon-Hernandez was detained without bail.
