Roseburg Police cited three people for a city ordinance violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:50 a.m. officers contacted the group, ranging in age from 30 to 52 years old, while they were camping at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. Their camps violated the city ordinance and they were cited accordingly. Due to two of the people having prior camping convictions, their citations were elevated to the criminal level. All parties were released after their citations were issued.
