ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR REPORTED HARASSMENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported harassment incident on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 11:40 p.m. officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Northwest Kline Street after a caller said there had been a physical altercation between two people. During the investigation, officers found that a 49-year-old woman had bit the victim’s hand and hit him multiple times. Video evidence of the incident was obtained.

The woman was taken into custody and transported to corrections. She was charged with harassment and was detained on $2,500 bail. The woman was released Friday morning.
