Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers contacted a 41-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man who were camping in a large green tent on the pedestrian bridge between Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Stephens Street. The woman had six prior camping convictions while the man had none.

She was cited for a criminal count of prohibited camping while the man was cited for a violation count of the charge. Both were released after the citations were issued.
