Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 3:45 p.m. the 37-year-old allegedly violated his restraining order when he contacted a protected person and two juveniles in person during an event at Fullerton IV Elementary School in the 2500 block of West Bradford Avenue.

The man admitted to violating the restraining order and agreed to meet officers to turn himself in. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $5,000.
