NEAR RECORD HIGH, RECORD HIGH LOW SET ON SUNDAY

Roseburg had a near record high temperature for the date, and a record high low temperature was set on Sunday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 100 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record high temperature for July 13th is 104 degrees, set in 1935. Sunday’s high tied for the second hottest day of 2025 so far, equaling the high on June 8th.

Sunday’s low temperature was a record high for the date. It only cooled to 70 degrees early Sunday, beating the record high low for July 13th, which was 63 degrees.

Forecasters said high temperatures will remain in the 90s through Saturday. The normal high temperature for this week in July is 86 degrees for Roseburg.
