A Drain man was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for warrants on Wednesday afternoon.

A DCSO report said at 5:00 p.m. the 56-year-old was contacted in the 800 block of South Elk Creek Road in Drain. A deputy had been told the man had the warrants and had not registered for his sex offender notification since 2022. Warrants were confirmed and the man was placed into custody. Bail was set at $7,000.
