Roseburg Police jailed a woman for depositing trash within 100 yards of waters on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:20 a.m. the 36-year-old was contacted at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. Her camp did not comply with the Place and Manner portion of the camping ordinance. The camp was directly on the edge of the river and was surrounded by copious amounts of refuse. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $2,500. The woman was released later in the day.
