ROSEBURG WITH SEASONAL NORMS THROUGH SATURDAY, HIGH PRESSURE COMING

The Umpqua Valley should see afternoon high temperatures in the seasonally normal range through Saturday, but warming will begin Sunday after high pressure starts to develop.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the high pressure will lead to highs near 90 degrees on Sunday, heating up to the mid 90’s for Tuesday and Wednesday. Conditions should remain stable next week with highs in the 90s through at least Saturday.

The mercury hit 86 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Wednesday.
