Roseburg Police cited two people for offensive littering and a criminal charge of prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 8:30 a.m. the 31-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were contacted at their camp at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The camp did not comply with the Manner portion of the time, place and manner ordinance. The camp was surrounded by trash and other debris, which covered an area of fifty feet by 20 feet.

Both people were released after the citations were issued.
