A participant in the H.O.P.E. Drug Court program has chosen to support Adapt’s Crossroads program as part of her graduate community project.
Tanaya Hulsey said, “I would like all individuals to be able to participate in sober living activities while in treatment. I know I did”. Hulsey said, “Now, I have friends and connections that are still part of my life – people I met while starting out in the Crossroads inpatient program”.
Hulsey is having a carwash and donation drive on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.at NAPA Auto Parts on West B Avenue in Drain during local Independence Day events. All donations go directly toward helping individuals with essential hygiene and comfort items. Items needed include:
*Shampoo and conditioner
*Body washing and bars of soap
*Deodorant
*Shower shoes in adult sizes
*Hiking and tennis shoes new or gently used
*Underwear and socks
*Hair ties and scrunchies
*Feminine products
*Q-tips
Douglas County HO.P.E. Drug Court will celebrate its 110th graduation on Tuesday, August 26th at 5:15 p.m. in the Cascade Hall of the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
