Sutherlin Police jailed a woman for a reported trespass and escape incident early Monday.

An SPD report said just before 12:30 a.m. after previously being trespassed from a mobile home park in the 1200 block of West Dean Avenue, 54-year-old Melanie Mills allegedly returned to the location, fled from officers when contacted, and crawled into a vehicle in an attempt to avoid arrest. Mills was charged with third-degree escape, second-degree criminal trespass, and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $13,750.
